About Sophie

Sophie Oldham is a fifteen-year-old professional artist who specializes in dramatic representations of beloved movie characters in charcoal on paper. She lives in the mountains of western Colorado where she hones her craft daily and develops her personal style. She feels that the storytelling of movies is critical to our culture and works to convey the essence of each character in her drawings. She is drawn to stories with qualities that allow us to see worlds beyond our own. She hopes that her artwork brings the viewer into these worlds for a deeper experience of the stories.
